A wedding program is very useful as to provide your guests with complete information and guidance of the time and venues of the wedding ceremony. It is not only useful for the guests but also serves your family and close friends. A wedding program usually will come in handy that consist of listing of several events, which can last for a few days. The preparation looks simple but can be very tedious and time consuming.

There are many ways one can write wedding invitations, and most of the time people can get so confuse to choose the right pattern or the right wording. That is the reason why I’m giving you a sample wedding program to give you a basic guideline to reduce your time and energy.

A wedding program can be split into 3 sections namely, Introduction part, main content and acknowledgment.

Details of the content can be subjective to personal preferences. The most important thing is that you must stick to the basic purpose of the wedding program that is to let the guests know what to expect and to acknowledge those people that are involved in the preparation of the wedding ceremony. Below is a sample of checklist of a wedding program for your reference:

Name of the Ceremony Priest (if applicable)

Directions to Reception

Note to Guests

The above guideline should be sufficient enough to make an initial wedding program. You can always counter check with some other wedding programs to get the best option that suits you. This is also to ensure that no relevant details have been missed out. Remember this piece of paper is so important to ensure smoothness of the whole process.
